1. Innovation
OLIZ is the world's first knee-exclusive wearable medical device applying Photobiomodulation (PBM) technology, fundamentally transforming existing knee pain management methods that primarily relied on physical therapy and drug treatment. PBM (Photobiomodulation) is a medical technology that regenerates and restores damaged tissues by injecting light energy into the cells of the affected area, thereby exhibiting significant pain relief and anti-inflammatory effects.

Through a unique technology that distributes 160 LED light sources on the front, left and right sides, and rear of the knee, delivering complex wavelength light energy to the entire knee, it achieves non-invasive and side-effect-free treatment. We believe this technology, which utilizes physical stimuli such as light, ultrasound, electrical stimulation, and (electro)magnetic fields to achieve therapeutic effects similar to drugs, will significantly contribute to the electroceuticals market, often referred to as the third-generation new drugs.

Furthermore, it makes innovative contributions in the medical field as follows:

Improved Accessibility: Activating home care for patients with limited mobility
Increased Efficiency: Maximizing treatment effects through continuous home care management
Streamlined Operations: Reducing reliance on physical therapy
Enhanced Equity: Providing equitable treatment opportunities without regional disparities, including for remote and mountainous areas
2. Functionality and Safety
OLIZ has undergone functional verification through the four clinical trials listed below, and is currently conducting a joint clinical trial (phototherapy for patients undergoing total knee arthroplasty) with seven tertiary hospitals.

Furthermore, it is a proven medical device that has obtained both U.S. FDA 510(k) approval and medical device certification from the Korean Ministry of Food and Drug Safety. Through these, its safety and efficacy have been recognized.

3. Convenience and Design
OLIZ was designed after securing average knee circumference and flexion data from over 20 countries and conducting AI analysis to achieve optimal curve design and wearability simulation. Its patented elastic structure allows the device's left and right wings to be worn easily, fitting the human body like a wearable device, and its close-fitting structure effectively delivers light energy to the skin.
Considering that pain areas vary among individuals, OLIZ adopts a 360-degree design that envelops the entire knee joint.
Flexible, human-friendly silicone material is used on the skin contact surface, providing excellent comfort and ensuring safe use even during extended periods.
It adopts a C-type charging method, allowing easy and convenient knee pain management anywhere without the need for a power connection, minimizing restrictions on the user's daily life.
With an intuitive one-button operation to easily adjust power and light energy intensity, anyone can use it simply.
4. Marketability and Expandability
The number of osteoarthritis patients, especially knee osteoarthritis, is significantly increasing worldwide, including in Korea. According to the American College of Rheumatology, the global number of knee osteoarthritis patients was around 360 million in 2019, and data from the National Health Insurance Service indicates that Korea also has approximately 3 million knee osteoarthritis patients. In particular, as Korea enters a super-aging society, the rate of increase is rapid.

As a core solution for this growing market, OLIZ possesses the following expansion possibilities:

Medical Cost Reduction: Alleviating the burden of medical expenses by reducing hospital visits through home care.
Preventive Medicine: Preventing severe diseases through early management.
Social Contribution: Improving the quality of life and reducing social costs.
Global Expansion: Contributing to national competitiveness by expanding into overseas markets based on FDA approval.

※ OLIZ' Suitability for the Growing Pains Market:
Non-invasive and Side-effect-free PBM Technology: OLIZ' core PBM technology can be very appealing to parents who wish to minimize drug use. Its principle of naturally alleviating pain and regenerating/restoring damaged tissues through light energy can be safely applied to children.
Convenience and Wearability: The C-type charging method, intuitive one-button operation, and ergonomic design based on data from over 20 countries help growing children wear it comfortably without resistance. Especially, the close-fitting structure and skin-friendly silicone material allow for safe use without irritation on children's delicate skin.
360-degree Knee-encompassing Design: Since it is often difficult to pinpoint the exact location of pain with growing pains, the design that encompasses the entire knee is highly effective as it can efficiently deliver light energy regardless of where children feel pain.
Expansion of Preventive Medical Perspective: OLIZ can establish itself as a preventive solution that helps children grow healthily by alleviating growing pains. This goes beyond mere pain treatment and can contribute to improving the quality of life for future generations.
※ Explosive Growth of the Senior Care Market: Rehabilitation and injury management services for seniors aged 65 and above are showing an astonishing annual growth rate of 30%. This reflects the strong desire of seniors to maintain healthy and active lives, along with the increasing need for chronic disease and pain management. OLIZ provides a solution that precisely meets the needs of this market.

※ OLIZ' Senior-Customized Solution:
Effective Pain Management through PBM Technology: Knee pain among seniors is a major factor that restricts daily life and significantly degrades their quality of life. OLIZ' PBM (Photobiomodulation) technology non-invasively alleviates pain and helps regenerate and restore damaged tissues without side effects. This is particularly useful for seniors who are hesitant to take medication or have difficulty visiting physical therapy clinics.
Improved Patient Accessibility (Activated Home Care): For seniors with limited mobility or difficulty visiting medical institutions, OLIZ is the optimal home care solution to manage knee pain comfortably at home. It can be conveniently used with a C-type charging method without a power connection, minimizing restrictions on the user's daily life.
Improved Medical Equity and Social Contribution: Seniors, including those in remote and mountainous areas with limited access to medical services, can receive equitable treatment opportunities without regional disparities through OLIZ. This improves the quality of life for seniors and can significantly contribute to reducing social healthcare costs in the long term.
