PIAspace Co., Ltd. has presented its flagship solution, MACS (Multi-modal AI for Camera Solution), at this exhibition. MACS is an intelligent CCTV video analytics system based on multimodal AI technology, capable of detecting complex abnormal behaviors in real time while understanding the context and meaning of each situation beyond basic object detection.



One of MACS’s key strengths lies in its ability to interpret scenes with human-like contextual understanding. Unlike traditional object-based AI that only detects the presence of people or objects, MACS can identify scenarios such as “a person has collapsed” or “a motorcyclist is riding without a helmet.” This is made possible through its use of an advanced Vision-Language Model (VLM), which simultaneously processes video and textual data for deep semantic analysis.



The system is equipped with real-time anomaly detection and instant alert features, enabling immediate response by notifying operators as soon as an incident occurs. MACS has been officially certified by Korean institutions including KISA and KTL, and has demonstrated F1-scores above 96 and over 90% detection accuracy in complex environments.



MACS is highly versatile and can be deployed across urban monitoring, industrial sites, ports, airports, hotels, and resorts. It supports flexible deployment environments, including SaaS, on-premise, and edge devices. Thanks to its lightweight AI model, the solution operates reliably even on non-GPU systems, offering excellent scalability and cost efficiency.
