Real-World Scale 3D Map

MAXSTVPS Vision technology builds an accurate model of real-size 3D Maps.

- Map Floorplan and Target Site: Upon selecting a site to construct 3D Map and its layout, a user records with 360 camera his/her surroundings on foot.
- 3D Point Cloud via Vision Technology: MAXST 360 Dense SfM technique produces 3D Point Cloud from the recorded target site.
- Meta Informations on 3D Map: Point Clouds are matched with 2D Map and tag POI informations, then the surroundings are meshfied to provide detailed informations regarding terrains and infrastructure.

6Dof Localization

MAXSTVPS precisely tracks exact location and positioning (6DoF) of users in physical space.

- 6 Degree of Freedom: X,Y,Z axis are three independent degrees of Freedom that are responsible for the position of an object. Roll, Pitch and Yaw would additionally define its configuration and the state of rotation, which ultimately provide the precise positioning and the location of an object.
- Localization: MAXSTVPS utilizes a smartphone camera to match Point Clouds within 3D map and define their feature points to provide an accurate 6DoF positioning of users.

Immersive AR

Create an immersive AR experience on 3D maps.

- Persistent 3D Experience: MAXSTVPS offers intuitive AR walkthroughs using 3D contents that match real-world space to provide an immersive experience like no other. Even when the camera points to different directions, the AR content is persistently anchored at its original position.
- Occlusion Culling: Removing a part of an object when obscured by nearer physical objects is an essential component to realistic AR content displacement. MAXSTVPS details the arrangement of each meshed layer, and effectively utilizes occlusion culling.
- Multiple Users: These virtual contents that persist throughout the 3D map are bound to spatial data, which can be found by multiple users. They can view, interact and see from various angles of AR contents.
