ERION is a mobile digital therapeutic designed to support toileting independence in children (6~12) with autism spectrum disorder.
The program combines:
Before training begins, caregivers record the child’s current toileting behaviors, such as sitting duration, fluid intake, toileting time, success or accidents, and level of assistance. Based on these records, E-RION adjusts training goals, repetition, timing, and reward criteria to the child’s functional level.
Children learn through animated video demonstrations and step-by-step practice, while caregivers receive training reminders, guidance, progress reports, and behavior tracking tools. Successful training is reinforced through mini-games, character customization, and caregiver-selected rewards.
ERION is not simply a toileting diary or educational application. It integrates assessment, structured behavioral training, caregiver support, progress monitoring, and personalized goal adjustment into one digital therapeutic workflow.
ERION has been designated as an Innovative Medical Device by Korean Ministry of Food & Drug Safety and is currently undergoing an exploratory clinical study to evaluate its safety and effectiveness in children with autism spectrum disorder.
