Smart HAblet is an integrated communication solution for hospital reception counters, waiting areas and consultation rooms, where staff most often serve older adults and foreign visitors. It combines real-time AI speech enhancement, live captioning and translation in a single desk-mounted system.

The unit is installed directly on the service counter.
Key capabilities
Accurate live captions, even in noisy counters. The system transcribes conversation in real time and displays it accurately even in environments crowded with competing voices. Enlarged fonts and high-contrast colors ensure readability for older users.
Dual-channel delivery: hear it and read it. AI speech enhancement selectively isolates and enhances the target speaker's voice and delivers it through the headphones in real time. The user hears the enhanced voice and reads the caption at the same time, a dual delivery structure that raises the accuracy of the exchange.
Real-time translation. The system supports live translation for serving foreign-language visitors.

Validated performance
The company's hearing assistance app, built on the same speech enhancement technology, was verified through TTA (Telecommunications Technology Association) certified testing to deliver strong noise suppression without speech distortion. A field validation with 100 older adults recorded high satisfaction at 5.8 out of 7.
Clinical advisory and field validation
The solution is developed with advisory input from otorhinolaryngology specialists at Seoul National University Hospital, and this input is being reflected in the senior-oriented UI design and development. mpWAV holds PoC and technology supply records with LG Electronics, Hyundai Motor Company, Robocare, the Agency for Defense Development (ADD) and the Electronics and Telecommunications Research Institute (ETRI). Field validation at Ewha Womans University Mokdong Hospital is scheduled.
