A chitosan dressing made to form a protective film on trauma and to cause local hemostasis by causing blood clotting

It is used to manage bleeding such as hemostasis by applying physical pressure to local areas such as cuts, lacerations, and abrasions or wounds in curved and three-dimensional body parts.

It can also be used for temporary treatment of surgical wounds and heavy bleeding in dermatology.

It forms a protective film on traumas such as wounds on curved and three-dimensional body parts such as abrasions, lacerations, and punctures, and causes coagulation, resulting in local hemostasis.

When used for minimally invasive surgery, it can absorb blood during bleeding to help secure vision and prevent infection at the surgical site.
