aweXome Ray is a four-year-old ESG hardware startup with a vision to make the world more sustainable through its unique technologies, carbon nanotube (CNT) fiber-based next generation X-ray technologies, that are well-protected by 12 local and six overseas patents. The company uses extreme ultraviolet (EUV) for air purification and sterilization, which has gained significance amid worries over particulate pollution, and of course, floating bacteria and viruses, such as the coronavirus.

aweXome Ray has commercialized an electrostatic precipitator-type air purifier/sterilizer. Airxome, its flagship equipment for smart air purification/sterilization, can be installed in closed spaces such as buildings, factories, underground, and even in submarines without requiring extra space for installation. It removes air pollutants rapidly without generating ozone. Unlike traditional air purifiers, Airxome is filterless and can purify and sterilize the air simultaneously.

Efficiency and effectiveness of Airxome has been officially proven by Korea Testing Certification (KTC), the world's premiere testing certification institute, and Korea Testing Laboratory (KTL). Airxome succeeded in eliminating fine dust in ten minutes and airborne bacteria in three hours. It even successfully reduced airborne viruses by 98.4% in just 30 minutes.
