STAR RUCKUS is Korea’s first mobile game-based digital therapeutic developed for children with attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder. Unlike conventional games or wellness applications, it is a regulated medical device used following evaluation and prescription by a healthcare professional.

The product combines immersive game content with adaptive cognitive training designed to support attention, working memory, inhibitory control, and cognitive flexibility. Training difficulty is adjusted according to each user’s performance, helping reduce the psychological burden of treatment while improving engagement and continuity.

Patients complete prescribed training through a mobile application, while healthcare professionals monitor treatment progress through a web-based management platform.

STAR RUCKUS has completed a multicenter confirmatory clinical trial involving Seoul National University Hospital and Hanyang University Medical Center. The product has also obtained authorization from Korea’s Ministry of Food and Drug Safety, Innovative Medical Device designation, ISO 13485 certification, and CE MDR Class I certification.
