Recycling facilities worldwide still rely heavily on manual sorting, leading to low efficiency, labor shortages, and safety risks. Aetech overcomes these challenges with AI- and robotics-based solutions that drive innovation in resource recovery.

The Atron robot sorts more than 56 categories of waste—including plastics, metals, and glass—by material and color, processing over 96 items per minute with 99.3% accuracy. Today, more than 30 units are in operation across public and private facilities in South Korea.

Building on this, Aetech has developed the automated facility Airo-mrf, which doubles recovery rates compared to manual sorting and achieves over 70% recycling, producing high-purity PET flakes.

In addition, the mobile solution Multi-tron provides an on-site, mobility-based resource recovery model, enabling immediate sorting and collection of waste generated in residential complexes and multi-use facilities.

Through Atron, Airo-mrf, and Multi-tron, Aetech innovates the entire process from waste generation to resource recovery, paving a new path for the circular economy and global climate action.
