1. Protecting the cabinet interior from external fire

Protects the interior from overheating caused by an external fire for 90 minutes, thus preventing thermal runaway and explosion due to spontaneous combustion or instability of the lithium-ion battery stored in the cabinet. 

This is possible because the cabinet has met the fire test of European EN 14470-1. In Europe, these cabinets fulfill the conditions of a separated structurally fire-resistant storage area according to German VdS3103:2016 or other international guidelines.



2. Cabinet protection against internal fire

The cabinet meets a fire resistance test of at least 90 minutes according to EN 1363-1:2012-10, which is a fire protection test from inside to outside. 



Therefore, lithium battery safety cabinets provide excellent protection against fire from the inside and outside.
