[Pain Points]

* Door lock does not lock immediately (security concerns, Sillim-dong incident)

* Difficulty adding individual authentication methods

* Effectiveness of IoT functions

[Solutions]

* Developed an immediate locking structure by directly designing/developing the locking device (mortise)

* Even after purchasing the product, fingerprint modules and smart door chains, etc.

Additional device integration is possible

* OTP-type remote key issuance through IoT application

and key-in device integrated management

[Selling Points]

* Immediate locking: As soon as the door is closed, it is immediately locked without a second.

* Instant opening: Automated mortise structure unlocks the door without driving the handle (fully automatic door opening method, not semi-automatic door opening method)

* Plus Link Platform: Can be linked with Keyin’s other security devices (fingerprint module, smart door chain)

* Application: Door opening through app, push alarm

External (remote) mobile key issuance

▶ KeyinL 4th generation smart door lock (Juki) main functions

[Instant lock function]

The locking device (hereinafter referred to as Mortis) of a commercially available main key-type door lock is designed in such a way that the door is held by a ledge bolt and the deadbolt locks the door after about 3 to 5 seconds.

The fully automated mortise first applied to Keyin L immediately locks the door through the ledge bolt, and secondarily the deadbolt locks the door once more.

Not only does the door lock immediately, but it is also excellent in terms of safety.

[Instant open function]

In the case of commercially available main key-type door lock mortises, it is necessary to drive the door lock handle to release the ledge bolt in a semi-automatic manner. In the case of fully automated mortise applied to KeyinL

The ledge bolt and deadbolt are designed to be released simultaneously, allowing the door to be opened immediately without a separate handle operation. Therefore, there is no parting part in the handle and no mechanical structure is needed.

In terms of design, there are differences compared to commercially available door locks.

▶ Smart lock common support functions

[IoT function support]

All Keyin products have a built-in Bluetooth 5.0 module, supporting various functions such as linking a smartphone and door lock through Bluetooth communication and remote door opening.

ⓐ Smart Open: A function that automatically unlocks the door lock when the registered user approaches the door lock when returning from an outing.

ⓑ Smart Alarm: A function that allows you to check various histories such as intrusion, damage, incorrect password entry, and entry through the application push alarm.

ⓒ History inquiry: A function that allows you to check all history that occurs in the door lock, including access history and alarm history, through the application.

ⓓ Key issuing function: Ability to issue guest keys and one-time keys to others through the app.

ⓔ Settings: Applications support door lock password change, auto lock, volume settings, etc.

[Other features]

ⓐ Fake password function: A function that allows you to enter a random number before or after the password and then enter the password.

ⓑ Fire/high temperature detection, automatic opening: A function that automatically unlocks the door with an emergency alarm when high temperature is detected indoors.

ⓒ Intrusion damage alarm: A function that sounds an alarm when an abnormal physical intrusion is detected from the outside.

ⓓ Anti-hacking function: A function that disables the door lock keypad from the outside for 3 minutes when the wrong password is entered more than 5 times in a row.

ⓓ Battery replacement notification: A function that generates a notification when it is time to replace the battery.

▶ [Plus Link device linkage (optional)]: Plus Finger (fingerprint module)

Keyin smart door locks can be used by purchasing a separate device, such as a fingerprint module, to suit the user's preference. The reason this method is possible is

This is thanks to the ‘Plus Link’ platform, which integrates Keyin’s technological capabilities.

‘Plus Link’ provides new features at any time by simply linking additional devices to ensure that the product does not lack functionality according to the tastes and values of different individuals.

Alternatively, it is Korea's first wireless modularization platform that helps you freely expand your devices.
