Renew System’s Eco Waterproofing and Root Barrier Sheet is a waterproofing solution for green roof projects that integrates highly adhesive gel-type waterproofing material and a layer of copper sheet with anti-root properties. It is a composite sheet that can be cold-applied without any heat application. The copper layer, as a metallic substance with over 99% purity, serves as an effective barrier against root penetrations.
The highly adhesive gel-type waterproofing layer is also highly flexible, which keeps the layer intact even under substrate movements and actively responds to structural movements or cracks, a key feature in minimizing the sheets from lifting once installed.
[How to Use]
① Clean and dry surface where the Eco Waterproofing & Root Barrier Sheet is to be applied.
② Remove release film as you roll out the Sheet onto surface.
Apply pressure with a pressing tool along the installed sheet in a smooth continuous movement so that the product adheres evenly on entire surface.
③ Use Root-Barrier Tape for fixture between sheets along the overlapping seams.
(*An extra protective layer on top of the sheets may be used upon consultation to minimize impact from drainage boards and other superstructures.)

Renew System’s Root-Barrier Tape is used for fixing the overlapping seams of Eco Waterproofing and Root Barrier Sheet. It is a layer of copper integrated with adhesive bond.
