Product Features:
- Typically, drug detection strips are products designed to detect drug metabolites in individuals suspected of drug use through urine, saliva, or similar bodily fluids. Strips that detect drug metabolites in urine, saliva, or similar fluids are classified as "in vitro diagnostic medical devices" and may require approval from regulatory authorities, such as the Korean Ministry of Food and Drug Safety. PHIL SCREEN 10 is designed to detect drugs themselves on-site, rather than just drug metabolites in urine or saliva.
- The product is configured to detect both liquid and powder forms of drugs. When the substance to be tested is in liquid form, the strip can be directly immersed in the liquid for detection. When the substance to be tested is in powder form, the powder can be collected using a swab, dissolved adequately in a buffer tube, and then applied to the detection strip for analysis.
- If any one of the 10 types of drugs is detected, it is considered a positive result. However, determining the specific drug among the 10 can be challenging.
