Introducing the new CUBIC Refrigerant Leak Detection Sensor for A2L & A3 refrigerants
The industry is rapidly transitioning from traditional HFC-based refrigerants (such as R410A) to natural refrigerants with low Global Warming Potential (GWP).
In particular, A2L and A3 class refrigerants possess flammable properties. Consequently, international safety standards mandate the installation of leak detection systems to prevent ignition in the event of a refrigerant leak.
We have successfully developed refrigerant sensors capable of detecting leaks of R32, R454A,R454B,R454C,R1234yf and R290 (propane). Their reliability has been certified in similar applications, and they are currently in mass production and supply.
CUBIC holds the unique distinction of being the only company in the refrigerant sensor field to have supported the establishment of IEC Annex LL test systems for UL Solutions China and Intertek China.
