Cubic JW-05-4CH is the world's first four-channel NDIR CH4 sensor designed for the residential and commercial gas safety alarm applications.
Developed based on Non-dispersive Infrared (NDIR) technology, Cubic four-channel JW-05-4CH utilizes the absorption characteristics of methane towards specific wavelengths of infrared radiation to calculate concentration through light intensity attenuation. The sensor captures methane characteristic wavelengths and absorption peaks of interfering gases through four independent detection channels and dynamically corrects interference based on a multi-wavelength regression algorithm.
Adopting multi-dimensional compensation technology, methane and interference gases including acetic acid and ethanol, can be accurately distinguished, while the concentration of methane can be accurately identified, which effectively avoids false alarms and improves detection accuracy, especially in complex kitchen environments. With low power consumption design, it can realize a long lifespan of over 10 years. With small and compact size, JW-05-4CH sensor is easy to be applied in gas alarms and portable gas detectors, ensuring residential and commercial gas safety.
