본 발명의 트레이는 60–70℃에서 연화되고, 구강 온도(약 36℃)에서 경화되는 형상기억 소재로 제작되어 구강 내 삽입 시 변형이 가능하고 착용 후 제형이 고정되어 정밀 인상 채득이 가능함
3D 스캐닝을 통해 획득한 환자 구강 데이터에 기반해 3D 프린팅 방식으로 맞춤형 설계 및 제작이 가능하며, 부위별 해부학적 특성을 반영하여 인상제 공간의 부피를 다르게 설계함
치조제 정상부, 후구치 융기부 등 압력이 많이 작용하는 부위는 인상제 공간을 좁게 설계하고, 설측 전정, 구개 중앙부 등 연조직이 많은 부위는 공간을 넓게 하여 압력 분산과 정확한 복제가 가능함
