KOTRA (CEO Yoo Jeong-yeol) will hold the ‘2023 Online Emergency Export Expansion Strategy Meeting’ at its headquarters in Yeomgok-dong from the 1st to the 3rd. In order to overcome the global complex crisis, KOTRA holds emergency response meetings with 128 foreign trade centers in 83 countries around the world in order to deliver the current serious situation and encourage responsible export site support.

On the first day, an online meeting was held with KOTRA regional headquarters in China, Japan, Southeast Asia, and Southwest Asia. On the second day, North America, Central and South America, the Middle East, and Africa, and on the last day, Europe and CIS regional headquarters discuss ways to expand exports. Specifically, we carefully grasp the market conditions and changes in demand in each region and seek ways for Korean companies to export even a penny more. In addition to previously planned projects such as support for participation in international exhibitions and conferences, we plan to do our best to help our exports recover by actively utilizing digital methods, logistics support, and resolving difficulties of Korean companies.

Currently, all ministries and related organizations of the Korean government have become export powerhouses, and this year's exports are centered on the 'Export Strategy Meeting' presided over by the President and the 'Export Support Council' in which all ministries and organizations participate. We are aiming for a plus. KOTRA plans to lead public and private export efforts as a pan-governmental export platform by taking advantage of its network of overseas KBCs around the world as its strength. “The export conditions for Korean companies are difficult due to the global economic downturn,” and “KOTRA directly connects with new market opportunities and exports by running directly into overseas sites based on active collaboration with the public and private sectors, with 128 overseas KBCs in 83 countries around the world. He said, “I will find a business for my brother.”
