Gyeongbuk Creative Economy Innovation Center leads the first step towards TIPS

Gyeongbuk Center for Creative Economy and Innovation (Director Moon-Rak Lee, hereinafter referred to as Gyeongbuk Center) has selected 9 companies in the '2023 Gyeongbuk TIPS (Technology Startup) Support Program' to increase the success rate of startups in the province and create a stable startup investment environment.
The 'Gyeongbuk TIPS (Technology Startup) Support Program' selects technology-oriented start-ups with high growth potential, It is a program that supports the final selection of the TIPS project [1] supervised by the Ministry of SMEs and Startups through matching, professional consulting, and financial support. To expand the fostering of related technology-based companies, △Pohang University of Science and Technology Holdings △Daekyung Regional University Joint Technology Holding △Y&Archer △Infobank △Korea University Technology Holdings 5 companies working together with professional TIPS operators.
The nine companies selected for the Gyeongbuk TIPS support program are △Witz △Business Note △Galloping △Premtu △Sungwang E&F △Three Brook Therapeutics △Stress Solution △Cream △Young-Gak Oil Field. The fields of these companies are diverse, including 3 platform companies, 2 materials/parts/equipment companies, 2 bio-healthcare companies, 1 4th industry company, and 1 agro-food company.
Lee Moon-rak, director of the Gyeongbuk Center for Creative Economy and Innovation, said, “The Gyeongbuk-type TIPS program is a great opportunity for competent local start-ups to enter the TIPS program.
