The ‘2023 VX Conference’, aimed at externally promoting the Gwangju realistic content production infrastructure and expanding the base of the virtual production (VP) industry, was successfully completed. The '2023 VX Conference' is an event hosted by Gwangju Metropolitan City, hosted by the Gwangju Information and Culture Industry Promotion Agency, and sponsored by the Korean Drama Producers Association and the Korean Film Producers Association, and will be held virtually for three days from December 6 to 8. The event was held with the participation of approximately 500 people, including production companies, directors (directing, lighting, etc.), VP-related workers, students, and citizens.

At the Virtual Production Forum held for VP industry experts on the 6th, the first day of the event, current industry leading evangelist Park Seong-je of Epic Games and Disguise Korea branch manager Kim Young-jin appeared as speakers. In particular, the ICVFX technology, which transcends time and space, attracted the attention of attendees by showing movie and drama production scenes in real time, focusing on backgrounds such as convenience stores, temples, deserts, and streets.
In the driving plate demonstration, Gwangju's representative vehicle 'Casper' was placed on stage and a driving scene similar to actual driving was shown against the background of the night streets of Geumnam-ro and U-Square. 3D driving content of driving through Gwangju of the future in a virtual environment was also presented, attracting great attention from participants.
