There is a saying that cleaning never stops even if you do it every day. This is because there is always dust floating in the air and dead skin cells or falling hair from the human body. No matter how well you clean, you are bound to see dust the next day.

However, in the busy lives of modern people, it is not possible to lift a heavy vacuum cleaner or mop every time. That's why I use a lot of sponges, wet wipes, adhesive roll cleaners, etc. that can be cleaned little by little whenever I see them. However, cleaning products are often disposable and are a major contributor to environmental pollution.

Amid this trend, Dirty Zero is reducing the use of disposable cleaning products and developing and selling a semi-permanent adsorption-type dust removal gel. We met with Jiyoung Moon, CEO of Dirty Zero, who promotes good cleaning habits by introducing ‘Dirty Zero’, which can remove dust anywhere without producing waste, to hear more details.

Please introduce your main products

The first Dirty Zero dust remover was created in a size that is easy to hold in the hand so that customers can apply it easily. In order not to spoil the image of the product, design elements were taken into consideration and a round cushion cosmetics-like aesthetic was added.

In addition, it is convenient to carry as it is available in a small size so that you can carry it in a pouch and remove pet hair or dust from clothes anywhere. In addition, larger versions for home use are also available. The semi-permanent adsorption dust removal gel uses an elastomer material that is safe enough to be used for medical purposes, and can be used semi-permanently if washed with water.

Our products are elastic, so they minimize damage to fabric and have excellent adhesion. Pet hair is difficult to remove with existing roll cleaners because it is not buried but stuck between the fibers, but Dirty Zero can cleanly remove even deeply embedded hair by pulling it out.

In addition, domestically produced products were not detected in a total of 30 hazardous substances tests and a total of 26 allergens tests, making them non-toxic and non-toxic.Non-irritant test certified.

If you have any future goals or directions

Dirty Zero won the KIWIE Gold Award for her creative idea and registered as an INV member with the International Inventors Association (IFIA). We can be confident that our product is unique as it has been recognized globally.

It is a competitive product that has even applied for a patent in a market where material patents are difficult to obtain, but as a small business, it is experiencing difficulties in promoting it. Therefore, in the future, we will do our best to ensure that the good products of Korea's small and medium-sized companies see the light of day and strive to become representative products, such as collaborations with large companies.

Just as we have developed products that fit the trend through semi-permanently used adsorption dust removal gel made of eco-friendly materials, we will continue to develop beneficial products that are functional, usable continuously, and helpful to the environment.
