BN은 판상형(Platelets) 구조의 방열 첨가재로 전기적 절연 성능을 가진 것이 가장 큰 특징입니다.
입자 사이즈가 클 수록 열전도율은 우수하지만 가격은 비싸집니다.
판상형 구조로 수평(X-Y) 방향으로의 열전도율은 우수하나 수직(Z) 방향으로의 열전도율은 다소 떨어집니다.
수직(Z) 방향의 열전도율을 개선하기 위해 구형(Agglomerates, Flake) 구조의 BN을 개발 하였습니다.
