Turbiscan LAB은 다양한 Liquid Dispersion의 분산 특성 규명, 장. 단기적인 분산 안정성의 변화 측정 및 여러 온도 조건 (RT ~ 60°C) 하에서의 Ageing Test가 가능하므로 새로운 제형의 연구개발 단계에서부터 품질 관리, 최종 제품의 Shelf Life 예측에 이르기까지 다양하게 응용할 수 있다. 일정한 온도 조건하에서 시간에 따 른 분산안정성의 변화를 시료 전체 높이에 대해 매 40μm 간격으로 정밀하게 측정하므로 Vertical Resolution이 탁월하다.이 때 시료내에서 일어나는 Destabilization 현상 즉, Particle Migration (Creaming/Sedimentation) 현상, Particle Size Variation(Flocculation/Coalescence)현상 또는 이러한 현상이 순차적 및 동시에 일어나는 복합적인 분산안정성의 변화를 Transmission & Backscattering Profile의 변화로부터 측정한다.따라서 어떠한 현상에 의해 각 시료의 분산안정성이 저하되는지 정성적인 분석결과와 시간에 따른 분산안정성의 변화를 다양한 Kinetics 및 Stability Index로 정량적인 분석결과를 제공한다.
