리더스테크의 무선화재감지시스템은 감지기에서 중계기와 수신기와 중계기간 전부 무선통신으로 정보를 주고 받도록 구성되어 있다. 화재발생시 감자기가 정보를 중계기를 통해 수신기에 보내면 화재서버를 통해 119 소방에도 연락이 가능하고 관리자에게도 문자메세지로 화재위치를 알려준다. 또한 화재관제서버 화면을 통해 어느 위치에 화재가 발생하였는지 화면에 나타난다.
무선감지기 종류는 정온식 무선감지기, 광전식 무선감지기, 열과 연기를 모두 감지하는 복합식 감지기가 있다. 1개의 중계기에 최대 24개의 감지기가 연결되어 있고, 1개의 수신기에는 최대 24개의 중계기가 연결 가능하여 최대 576 회로를 사용가능하다.
기존 제품은 중계기와 감지기는 무선으로, 수신기와 중계기 사이에는 유선으로 연결되어 있으나 본 제품은 중계기와 감지기는 무선, 수신기와 중계기 사이에는 무선으로 전부 무선으로 통신하여 화재발생시 신속하고 정확하게 화재 발생상황을 파악이 가능하다.
