Chonnam National University Hwasun Hospital is a globally renowned cancer-specialized hospital, selected as one of the "World's Best Specialized Hospitals for Oncology" by Newsweek. The hospital has pursued the "Advanced Medical Care in Nature" and has been progressing towards becoming an international cancer-specialized hospital. It is the only national university hospital in South Korea to have received the KAHF accreditation by the Ministry of Health and Welfare and JCI accreditation.
