자상, 열상, 찰과상과 같은 국소 부위 또는 굴곡지고 입체적인 신체부위의 상처에
물리적인 압박을 가하여 지혈 등의 출혈 관리에 사용
피부과에서의 외과적 창상과 심한 출혈의 일시적 처치에도 사용될 수 있으며,
찰과상, 열상, 찔린 상처와 같은 굴곡지고 입체적인 신체부위의 상처 등의 외상에
보호막을 형성하고 응고작용을 일으켜 국소적인 지혈작용이 일어날 수 있음
최소침습 수술에 사용할 경우, 출혈 시 혈액을 흡수해 시야확보에 도움을 주고 수술부위 감염을 예방
