Company Introduction
AIRS Medical strives to overcome the limitations of conventional medical imaging services by utilizing powerful deep learning technology. Our main focus is on MRI reconstruction. MRI is an imaging technique with particularly long scan times, inducing difficulties for both patients and medical institutions.
Founded in October 2018, AIRS Medical was selected as a “Baby Unicorn” company by the Ministry of SMEs and Startups in June 2020 and was awarded a national grant from the Korean Medical Device Development Fund in September of the same year. In November, AIRS placed 1st in all tracks of the fastMRI Challenge hosted by Facebook AI Research and NYU Langone Health, gaining recognition from both home and foreign institutions.
AIRS Medical is currently conducting joint research with Korea’s largest research hospitals such as Seoul National University Hospital, Seoul Asan Medical Center, and Seoul St Mary’s Hospital on MRI acceleration and reconstruction.
